The following is the international standard classification method:
1, heat treatment oil: some types of oil are easily washed away by water because the oil is formulated with demulsifier. These oils can be called "soluble oil" and the manufacturer can determine the oil according to the user's requirements.
(1) cold hardening (< 80 ℃) : A rapid quenching oil, UHA.B normal quenching oil, UHB.
(2) A thermal quenching (30 ℃ -- 130 ℃) : A rapid quenching oil, UHC;B normal quenching oil UHD.
(3) the thermal quenching (130 ℃ -- 180 ℃) : A rapid quenching oil, UHE;B normal quenching oil, UHF.
(4) high temperature quenching (> 180 ℃) : A rapid quenching oil, UHG.B ordinary (normal) hardening oil, UHH.
(5) vacuum quenching, UHV.
(6) others, UHK.
2. Heat treatment water:
(1) surface quenching: A water, UAA;B water-bearing liquid for rapid quenching, UAB;C water-bearing liquid for slow quenching, UAC.
(2) integral quenching: A water, UAA;B water-bearing liquid for rapid quenching, UAD;C aqueous liquid for slow quenching, UAE;
(3) others: UAK.
3. Molten salt for treatment:
(1) 150 ℃ to 500 ℃, molten salt (150 ℃ -- 500 ℃), USA.
(2) 500 ℃ to 700 ℃, molten salt (500 ℃ -- 700 ℃), USB;
(3) others: USK.
4. Gas for heat treatment: A air, UGA;B neutral gas, UGB;C reduced gas, UGC;D oxidation gas, UGD.
5. Fluidized bed: UF.
6, others: UK.
Domestic classification of heat treated oils
Class I cold quenching oil:
A. ordinary quenching oil, used for quenching materials with small size and good hardenability.
B. Fast quenching oil, used for quenching large and medium materials.
C. overspeed quenching oil, used for quenching large and poor hardenability materials.
D, bright quenching oil, used for small and medium section bearing steel, tool steel, cutting tool steel and instrument parts under the protection of the atmosphere of quenching.
E, fast bright quenching oil, used for medium and poor hardenability of materials in a controlled atmosphere quenching.
F, no. 1 vacuum quenching oil, used for medium materials under vacuum quenching.
G, no. 2 vacuum quenching oil, used for quenching materials with good hardenability in vacuum state.
Class II hot quenching oil:
A, no. 1, isothermal, graded and quenching oil, used to about 120 ℃ hot oil quenching.
B, no. 2, isothermal, graded and quenching oil, used to about 160 ℃ hot oil quenching.
Type III tempered oil:
A, no. 1 back to heat the oil, to about 150 ℃ tempering.
B, no. 2 back to heat the oil, used to back to around 200 ℃
